We’re proud to announce that Globema has once again been awarded the Location-Based Services Specialization as a Google Cloud Premier Partner! This recognition reaffirms our continued commitment to excellence in providing location-based solutions powered by Google Maps Platform and Google Cloud technologies.
This is the third time we’ve earned this Specialization, following previous awards in 2020 and 2022.
Google only grants this distinction to Partners who consistently demonstrate advanced technical capabilities, successful customer implementations, and high service quality in the Location-Based Services (LBS) domain.
What is the Location-Based Services Specialization?
The Location-Based Services Specialization is part of the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Program and represents the highest technical recognition for Google Partners in this domain. To achieve or renew this Specialization, partners must undergo a detailed assessment process led by Google and verified by an external auditing company.
Only companies that meet strict technical, business, and quality requirements can hold this status.
For us, it’s not just a badge. It’s a sign of trust and proof of our long-term expertise in developing and managing solutions that use Google Cloud and Google Maps technologies. We’ve been working with Google for 13 years, helping customers across industries.
Bartosz Lech, CCO
What does it take to earn this Specialization?
Renewing the Location-Based Services Specialization is a rigorous process led by an external auditor. The certification is based on a series of thoroughly documented projects built using Google Maps Platform and Google Cloud technologies.
The audit evaluates not only the technical aspects of our solutions, such as architecture, performance, and compliance, but also the quality standards of our development processes and project delivery practices.
Other criteria included:
- Holding the Google Cloud Premier Partner status
- Maintaining a dedicated website for location-based services based on Google Cloud
- Providing customer success stories from the last 24 months, showcasing real-world challenges and the impact of Google-powered solutions
Project highlights: how we put Google Maps to work
Among the projects we presented as part of our Specialization renewal you will find implementations of our GeoTraxx route planning and field service management solution, offered in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.
These projects relied on the power of Google Cloud Platform and Google Places APIs. In particular, they used the Geocoding API and Directions API to enhance the efficiency of transportation and field service operations.
As Max Group
A company specializing in transportation and furniture assembly services for e-commerce businesses across Europe. With the help of GeoTraxx and Google Maps services, they significantly improved route planning and delivery execution across borders.
DBEST
A furniture producer and distributor that optimized its delivery operations with GeoTraxx and Google APIs. As a result, the company shortened delivery times by 50%, reduced delivery planning time by 90%, and lowered the number of undone tasks by 15%.
