We have good news for Google Maps Platform and Maps Embed API users! Starting July 1, 2020, there will be no charge for unlimited usage of Maps Embed API.
What do you need to know?
Starting July 1, 2020, all Maps Embed API requests are free with unlimited usage.
With this change, reporting for the Maps Embed API in the Google Maps Platform Console will be consolidated. Advanced Maps Embed API requests (SKU: Embed Advanced) will be named SKU: Embed.
Google doesn’t require any user actions. Your billing will automatically update to reflect changes in pricing and SKU.
