Important changes in Google Maps

Important changes! As of June 11, 2018, the implementation of a new model for using Google Maps APIs will begin. Ultimately, the existing Standard Plan and Premium Plan will be replaced by the Google Maps Platform. The use of Google Maps API without a registered key will no longer be supported.

Most important dates:

June

The maps without an individual key will be disabled and the transition period will start – new products, such as Directions Advanced or Autocomplete Per Session, will be available for free testing.

July

A new Google Maps Platform pricing model for existing free key users will be applied.

September

A start of gradual trasfer of Premium Plan users to Google Maps Platform.
